UConn 2023 Kickoff Times

We’re expecting to get the full home game slate + @ GA State and @ Tennessee kickoff times by the end of May. ESPN/ABC announces their kickoff times on 5/31, the other networks typically announce at the same time on the Tuesday/Wednesday before or after Memorial Day.

With that in mind- I’ll guess the below for kickoff times and networks:

Th 8/31 NC St: 7:00pm CBSSN
Sat 9/9: @ GA St 2:00pm ESPN+
Sat 9/16: FIU 12:00pm CBSSN
Sat 9/23: Duke 3:30pm CBSSN
Fri 9/29*: Utah State 7:30pm CBSSN
Sat 10:21: USF 12:00pm CBSSN
Sat 11/4: @ Tennessee 12:00pm SECN/SECN Alt
Sat 11/18: Sacred Heart 12:00pm CBSSN

Lastly- I’m also guessing we’ll finally get the formal UMass announcement:

Sat 11/25: v UMass (Fenway Park) 12:00pm CBSSN

Even though this isn’t a UConn home game, I could see CBSSN figuring out how to televise this one. UMass doesn’t have a linear TV partner and Army is off on 11/25 preparing for the Navy game. CBSSN has an open slot here and I’m guessing they work it out to televise this game.

* Currently scheduled for Saturday but UConn’s CBSSN deal says they can play 1 Friday game per season

I love anything but noon. I hate moon as I start drinking way too early. Makes me feel better about myself to start tailgating around 11 instead of 7 am. And yes I know I should not have to drink to enjoy the tailgate…..but while I don’t have to….I want to.

Early Sept in Atlanta, a 7 pm night game sure beats a high noon or late afternoon kickoff with the sun beating down.

Sucks finding out you are way outside the fat part of the bell curve.

In a state the size of CT a 3:30 start is perfect.

Fortunately you have 3 months to start building credit towards those extra hours away from the wife on the 3:30 game days.
