Yeah they definitely played a bad half, it doesn’t mean they’re terrible in general. Like I said UConn and Marquette were on pace for a 28-24 final score 10 minutes into the championship game.

You think they see all the fouls they call? They're guessing a lot of the time. All those head snaps guys use, selling contact. Timberlake didn't even sell anything it was just the way the play went it looked like he was fouled in real time. So that's what they called. It's not complicated. It's not a conspiracy.

They seem to “ guess” a lot more fouls when the Jailhawks are on the ropes it seems to me

Yes. As long as it was a "shot", it is legal to rebound your own airball. Now, whether it is legal on the pick up courts, that is a different story.
