I live in EST and don't care what happens in CST. This is why we should be the Big EAST. I also have a 710 tee time tomorrow morning and am already thinking I will play like crap. Can we lose the CST teams? I'll even take Temple

I misquoted myself.

ACC is all Eastern time zone.

Thought South Bend was Central but it is Eastern.

Indiana is almost entirely in the Eastern time zone.

Went on a road trip once in summer and stopped in Indy. It didn't get dark until like 9:45.

Indiana used to not be in a time zone. They were their own. Like Arizona. Never changed clocks either way.

Must have been 08 or somewhere around there where they went Eastern, with most counties around Chicago being on central time.

Could be worse. Could be in China where the country spans 5 time zones of area but has one universal time zone. True fact.

Yeah. You have to be on the course before noon in Tibet to finish a round.

We should only play against schools that are in Connecticut so we can walk to the games!!!

How many of them did before 2005? Conference realignment really screwed up natural rivalries

I don’t care about time zones, I’m curious as to where the hell on the east coast you’re playing golf at 7:10 in the morning? You definitely don’t live in the northeast!

While I completely agree with your main point and would wave a magic wand to reverse all the realignment post 2009, all three of the B1G, SEC, and XII spanned two time zones in 2005. And so did the Big East post-CUSA raid.

Edit: to be fair, all of them except the B1G (6-5 Eastern) and SEC (7-5 Central) only had 1-2 in a separate zone.

Yeah and the big 10 had Penn State, which wanted to be, and really should have been, part of the Big East. That would have stabilized the Big East.

There are too many time zones nowadays. Please eliminate three. I am not a crackpot.

We have a few home games tipping at 8:30, read 8:45, because of Fox. Getting home after midnight sucks (game went into OT)

But I'll deal with it as long as we're winning
