Jax is gonna be special, just needs to slow down and adapt to the game.

overall, our lack of playmakers is extremely apparent. Not one person could create their own shot today. Rese, Whaley, Polley, and Cole all had awful games.
Bouk makes everyone a playmaker because they need to focus so much on him defensively. Polley will matter again.

Good point on forcing it to Polley. Everyone on both teams realizes it and it bogs down everything. Would rather run offense on one side and have Polley work weakside. If he gets open, great. If not, you're still running an offensive set.
Our offensive problems begin with two guards dribbling off 10 seconds to cross the half court line then another 10-15 seconds of our 30 seconds dribbling and nothing passing 5-8 times before even looking at the hoop. Sad it takes so long to start your offense. Look at Beckers for the women, she always has her head up looking down court!
Polly is too one dimensional. At this level your can't afford a pure shooter than averages 30% from 3 point land. He could help by getting into the middle for short jumpers or a pass under the hoop. We play statute of Liberty basketball.

By your definition, that would make Bouk the playmaker....and polley a byproduct of that attention.
We need players who can create their own shot and be trusted to win a 1v1 matchup.

Still 13% over their average in the mid-70s.

They shoot 3's at a 33% clip, went 7-14 against us.

And neither of those include tte 19-footer at the end of the shot clock, the one flipped in left handed over Sanogo.
Actually 9 for 18!
