The whole reason the NCAAT went to the two Regional setup was to boost on site attendance as most regions, particularly the West and Midwest have traditionall struggled. Well Greenville had LSU-Utah and Miami-Villanova with attendance as 8,592 which, to be honest is only Ok as I am sure with Miami and LSU, they We’re hoping for more than 10,000.
in Seattle, Iowa-Colorado and LouisVilleda-Ole Miss had 9,626 which for the West coast is phenomena! My suspicion is Iowa had a large contingen.
To has SC in Greenville and UConn in Seattle so I expect bigger crowds. I have seen quite a few Virginia Tech fans here in Seattle already and my flight had a few UConn fans on it.
