John Bongiovi spent part of his childhood in my hometown and lived next door to my parents' best friends. He and I graduated from the same high school though he's 6 years younger than me.

Happy the Man were a DC area prog rock band os the late-70’s-early 80’s. Kit Watkins lived just a couple of miles from me in the mid-90’s. This is my favorite cut of theirs.

Linda Ronstadt is from Tucson. Of course, Tucson isn't my original home town. Neither my original home town nor the slightly larger neighboring city seems to have produced any musicians.

Cindy Blackman grew up right down the street from me! She has a new song called Imagine! She plays the drums in a band with her husband, Santana!!! She's a Lake Ave Girl from Bristol, Connecticut!!!

Before moving to Maine, I lived in Norwalk, CT for about 25 years.
In addition to diggerfoot, Norwalk is known for its native son, master of funk and hard bop, Horace Silver.

This is some music from Jim Roderick, a retired teacher from Frostburg, Maryland who got together with a group of local musicians to put together an album entitled "Soft Horizons." Their sound reminds me of Spiro Gyra.
