If any of the top 15 teams offer an under the radar kid, they always get a ton more attention. I bet you could offer a kid that wouldn't start juco and some teams would offer sight unseen just because of an offer from the big time universities.

If a top program recruits a player that some say couldn't start in a JUCO game then you can believe the opinion of "some" was wrong.

Heck ESPN's HoopGurls doesn't even have Paige as an McDonalds AA. They need to get their act together if they want to put out information on Women's basketball.

If you check all of the other profiles, you will not see a listing as a McDonald's All-American.

ESPN may broadcast the game, but it is not an ESPN or ESPN-sponsored honor. Similarly, the ESPN recruit profiles do not list Parade All-American honors, WBCA All-American honors, etc. It would be different if it were the ESPN high honor that was not listed.

The ESPN Hoopgurlz biographies are for the HS rating/evaluation service. The bios are not meant to be all-encompassing sources for information about a player/recruit (which is also why you would not see the rankings from other scouting services there). That is the responsibility of the college/institution in its profile of the players on its WCBB team.

Earlier today Mir had it on hers and Paige didn't.
