Stuff gets you in trouble. So far, we've been a slow starting team..and our offense (vertical passing game in particular...lack of) seem to be our primary issues. Can't win if we don't come out fighting from the start.
Hot a chance to re-watch the 2nd half of the FIU game. We looked like a totally different football team; especially on defense.

IF we can figure how to play like the 2nd half of yesterday's game. I don't think it'll be a cake walk for next week's opponent. Sure, they're good, but we clearly have a few horses too. Just need a better start early on. Gotta utilize middle if the field more often on offense...


BTW, game ball to Jelani Stafford. Played his tail off, on both sides of the ball for us. Keep him in the RB room coach....

Yes for Stafford. But I don’t read the second half of us being improved as much as a tired opponent having taken their foot off the gas with a safe lead after a horrific travel experience.
