Lucky you. I grew up in 60s, parents worked split shifts at a factory. So mom worked as many hours and as hard as dad did - and was also expected to manage the house. We rarely had a quality piece of protein for dinner. Chinese food came from a can. Sometimes so did Italian. There were many ways to serve hot dogs that didn't involve a bun.To those who are younger on The Yard I’ll tell you this: Growing up as a kid in the 50’s this was kinda what I remember it being like when dad came home from work. And the dinner was good, damn good.
When I think 1950’s, I think culinary perfection. And the dinner was good, damn good.
this looks like my pre-nup
