My top 16 prediction from my simple model... (25% resume ave, 25% predictive ave, 20% Q1 performance, 10% first 2 quad win margin, 10% first 3 quads win%, 5% away/neutral rec, 5% OOC SoS)
TeamS-CurveSeed
Purdue11
UConn21
Houston31
Arizona41
Marquette52
North Carolina62
Tennessee72
Baylor82
Auburn93
Iowa St103
Alabama113
Kansas123
Duke134
Dayton144
Wisconsin154
Illinois164

Differences between me and BracketMatrix... I have UNC and Tenn swapped on the 2-line. I have Kansas as the last 3 instead of a 2 and Baylor in their spot. Auburn moves up a couple within 3rd seed. And I have Dayton in a protected seed ahead of Creighton and up above Wiscy.

Committee does usually favor power ratings a decent amount for seedlines 2-8 or so (less so for bubble), so I'm surprised to see Kansas on 2-line so often.

The committee is an absolute joke for this format. Stop being cowards and reveal the bubble which is far far more important and interesting.

I love how the committee talks about all the games they watch (every game and hours and hours) then the seeding has nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with numbers.

We would be far better served with a CBS/ESPN/FOX panel of basketball commentators (or anyone from the basketball world that watches "hours and hours" of basketball) arriving at a bracket than these University presidents and athletic directors looking to hide behind arbitrary "computer code."

In actuality:
Purdue
UConn
Houston
Arizona
UNC
Tennessee
Marquette
Kansas
Bama
Baylor
ISU
Duke
Auburn
SDSU
Illinois
Wisconsin

The top 4 was as you (and most of us) expected. The next 3 were shuffled a bit but all on the #2 line.

The Committee continues to give Kansas a lot of undue respect at #8, especially relative to their pedestrian computer numbers (NET and KenPom both have them in the 15-20 range).

Auburn getting a lot of disrespect at #13, where the computers have them in the top 6. BYU and Dayton not on the board at all, but SDSU is.

No, we really wouldn't.

Don't care where we are seeded, the end goal is to win the national championship.

We always had luck when we are seeded in the West. It would be fine if we are there as the #1 seed.

Normally I would be in full agreement. This year however, if we don't end up as #1 in the east it will be due to our having screwed something up horribly over the next few weeks.

Give me Brooklyn and Boston. Four near home games. We've done well in the West, but being in the East (Philly & Manhattan) clearly helped us too.
