Seems to me the 6 schools in the SEC that don’t play in the challenge will play against 6 of the top AAC teams to make sure all of the SEC teams and the top AAC teams get extra Quad 1/2 games.
I'm not so sure. Top of the AAC should be able to pretty consistently beat the bottom of the SECI mean, it's a good thing in a vacuum. I just hope they don't play up the "challenge" aspect of it and make a big deal over who wins the most games each year. That's a no-win situation for the AAC.

So it would be:Only 4 SEC teams don't participate. Pretty meh for the AAC with only a third of the conference participating.
So basically the bottom 4 SEC teams will play the top 4 AAC teams?
Will there be a trophy?
This would make sense too as UConn and Florida have the H/H and Kentucky and Memphis have been rumored to be playing this upcoming seasonOnly schools that have played in every Challenge since 2014: Florida, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt. Those might be the 4 out for next year.
