Time to show America who the number one program in the nation is & what that looks like- it’s a new day in Men’s College Basketball. The Basketball Capital of the World in UConn.

Think on this. UC-Bama is game 2. A lot will depend on who win's game 1. If Purdue wins, as is expected, then many (i.e. the betting public, media, NCAA, et. al.) will be hoping for the "HEAVYWEIGHT MATCH". The Zach Edney return story, the Purdue "Redemption" tour, and UCONN'S chance at back to backs. If, on the other hand N.C. St. upsets, Purdue, there'll be 2 schools of thought. 1. UC would have to win to keep up interest from the betting public/Media/NCAA, etc. for a repeat. If, on the other hand, UC loses, it would set up a "feel good story, Bama would be going for it's first basketball NC, while N.C. ST. would be the underdog that battled through the tourney as an low seed.
Interesting theories. Stay tuned.
You are ignoring UConn's challenge to defend its status as the only team to ever win a National Championship after having won its Conference Tournament by way of 5 victories in 5 nights.

UConn 85, Alabama 73.

This was my other range of prediction. If we don't QUITE smother them like we have other teams, it will be around this range. If our D is on point, it will be more high 70s to low/mid 60s.

The betting line is collapsing and I have no idea why.

It was as high as -12 with Alabama moneyline up to +550. Now -10.5 and +425.

Smart money or dumb money coming in late?

No clue, but gotta figure a nonUCONN fan getting better than 4:1 in the final 4 is pretty juicy. Hard pass from me though.
