Hey gang - decided to start a new thread for today's games, and also put the link to the upset poll for those that are interested.

Per yesterday's process, as the games begin each "hour", I'll remove them from the predictions poll form.

Big Ten wholle tournament sold out in advance.

SEC remaining games are sold out. Means Greenville will be packed today and many tickets willl go on resale tonight. If Tennessee wins today, Scalpers lose. If SCar and LSU win today, scalpers win.

I think brief upset alerts and beginning of 4th quarter scores are tolerated. But don’t poke the bear. But this should be mostly pre and post -game. 3 games underway now. Ssssshhhh!

ND blowing the doors off VT.

Committee going to have a tough time with the Hokies.
If they think Kitley is coming back and she doesn’t then VT will be vastly over seeded.
And if the reverse then possibly underserved.

But I’m skeptical. I’d have them no higher than a 3, and possibly a 4 after today.

And ND is looking very dangerous. I was kinda hoping they’d be the 4 in SCs bracket but that ship has sailed.

Meanwhile after dominating Q1, UConn has been even with Prov over q2-q3.

I already was very skeptical of UConn moving up to a 2 seed, and this doesn’t help. Though there are more games to play.

Southern Indiana, in just their 2nd year of D1, is the favorite in the OVC final today.

Baylor loses to iowast taking them out of the running for a host.

Gonzaga had to worry about teams leaping over it, and while ND surely has, the losses by Colorado and Indiana, and no else emerging so far, should keep the Zags safely in as a host, if they can win the WCCT.

After this morning’s games, I found myself wondering about the NC. If the favorites and the usual suspects don’t simply dominate, what surprise winner do you have in mind? For me, it’s ND. With Westbeld and Sonia and Hannah playing great, they might just surprise some people.

Of course, we all know SC will probably just march to victory. But if they don’t and the other favorites don’t either, who do you think will sneak in and take the trophy?
