Renwood, which has long been home to the equivalent of Section 8 housing (could be Section 8?) is getting a makeover. This is great news, as my friends have lived here for years and always told me about these apartments. From lack of hot water in winter to mold in the apartments they needed to step their game up with the Storrs Center/Oaks Apartments project being nearly completed. Competition is good!
