It's easy to look like a great coach when Cole, Martin and Sanogo are playing well. Very good win. Hurley did a really good job, but winning is so much easier when Sanogo stays out of foul trouble. This win solidifies the season.

Whaley ruining any momentum they were looking to build with that zone was gigantic. Also hit the two jumpers from the FT line for good measure. Once Hall had to come out of the zone, it went back to business as usual in the interior. This was a great combo of Hurley clicking the right button and the players executing. There have certainly been times he’s been outcoached, but there have also been times when he had the right plan on paper and the execution just wasn’t there.

DH gets plenty of criticism last night nothing but kudos. Did a nice job preparing for Willards attempt to Kadary our guys again but with very little success. The defense played one its finest all around games of the year no doubt. If his guys made FTs as they should this is a run away and DH deserved that. No matter a good win trending the right way for a strong finish!

I keep saying it....give Hurley 2 more years at his current pace. our caliber of players is going to be outstanding. His coaching will "appear" much better. He had an A+ game last night.

Whaley was easily the X factor. as mentioned above, hitting the 15 footer, great entry passes plus his usual defensive prowess was huge for us. Glad to see him back to his usual self over the past month.

Very encouraging to see us executing zone offense well, given the trouble zones were giving us earlier in the season. Given the matchup problems Sanogo and Martin tend to cause for teams, taking the zone option away from them is huge.

Whaley's stats are often deceiving. When he is out of foul trouble, he is a major defensive force inside and allows Sanogo well timed rests. If Whaley can continue to look for his shot and score 7-10 points a game, we are a different team as the defense can't sag on Sanogo and we have another scoring threat. Hopping coach can get Martin going early in every game.

We more than held our own going small. The SH game was a solid win, better than the 5 point margin at the end. The coach pressed all the right buttons, and the players are deep into the game, even those on the bench. There is joy is Huskieland.

DH and the staff did a nice job - I think kudos have to be given to the staff also, I am sure a lot of the post play work is due to Kimani's influence. Tom works on a lot of defensive stuff in practices as well as knowing the opponents strengths and weaknesses. Not sure if Luke is that involved in the tactical side but he is like the needed cartilage between the athletes and the staff.
I saw a different DH out there Wednesday night and it was pleasant to see.
