16. Probably the brown rat. If not, then the chicken.
19. Crimean War
20. Daniel Webster?
24. Married clergy - This change can happen since celibacy of priests is not based in the Catholic religious dogma. Thus there is hope for change.

16: Homo sapiens? Not the most numerous, but range is from the North Slope in Alaska and Baffin Island, and possibly places in Greenland that are further north, to Tierra de Fuego in the south.

I mean, you're right, but I want the non-human variety.

14..Big & VAUC know what "explain" means.

15..Bama, Cajun & VAUC all Sey mour than do others.

16..SVC nominates the chicken for mammal inclusion. Vote now. We all know its northern range, but Big is also aware that the puma is found at the very, very bottom too.

17..And the Dogs ask, "Who let VAUC, Bama & Rocket out?".

18..Come on, who's the fellow who gave us 2 dozen stories in the 1300's?

19..Cajun and Knight are complete.. Apparently the cannons of Tchaikovsky still ring in Big's ears.

20..If you're still unsure, SVC, see Knight.

21..Rocket is Abel to name Kane.

22..Bama hits 5, and Cajun says that he could have included Cuba too.

24..Bama and SVC, who both married ex-nuns, wait for their chance. Although SVC's altar boy experience failed, weeks ago, to provide the response to, "Ad eum qui laetificat". That makes his candidacy shaky.

23..Sri Lanka, India, Nepal

25..Bama, SVC & VAUC cite Ethiopia.

And, SVC, I am pleased to be acknowledged. Just for that I shall continue.

Coming late and I totally knew a lot of these.

I cannot fill in Chaucer's blanks because we really did short service to the Canterbury Tales in high school. Thank goodness.

A bit of trivia concerning #19. The charge took place in Crimea, at a place then called Balaclava. And the British general who led the charge was Lord Cardigan. Both are the source of names for articles of clothing, The cardigan sweater ,and the balaclava knit cap. :)

Because it should have been "ad deum qui laetificat juventutem meam."

Prayers at the foot of the altar! The nuns made us memorize them until we would never forget them! I do not think that the Chief understands the gravity of the altar boy experience. :D Dominus vobiscum.
