Joe Paterno knew of Jerry Sandusky abuse in 1976 per testimony in newly unsealed records

Honestly not surprising. Predators like Sandusky do not "all of a sudden" start being predators. He was an enabled predator for most of his coaching career. It is sad that the evidence suggests Paterno's hands are so dirty though.

The Paterno and Penn State sycophants should go silent, once and for all. But somehow, they will not. Unfortunately, the mounting evidence points directly at JoePa being an enabler for these heinous crimes - for many, many years. JoePa, and too many others who had the power AND the responsibility to do the right thing by all these kids. But did nothing.

He's a piece of crap all records from 1976 should be taken away. He is only a notch better than a pedophile at this point.
True. He was a disgusting pedophile enabler who put the glory of his team above the well-being of multiple children.
Meanwhile, another pedophile enabler (also well-know for nose-picking) got off with a half-hearted apology and donation to a charity.

Penn State seems to keep re-writing the book on how NOT to handle a crisis. Isn't all of this crap coming out because they tried to get their insurance company to cover the massive lawsuit obligations and then the insurance company proves gross negligence? Bad decisions dominoes.

Plus ... our (friendly) Greg Schiano involvement per the unsealing of records.
