I have UConn NCAA Champ Coke bottles (unopened) from 1999, 2004 and 2011. I never found one from 2014, so I assume they didn't make any. Can you imagine how nasty a 1999 Coke would taste? Keeping them unopened forever.

Good point. Without a guarantee of poisoning from the soda, mojo may fail. Best to not take any chances

You know, Hawk thinks it was the calimari, but I think it's just as likely it was the mac & cheese. That's a bacteria magnet. Unless he was the only one that had calimari.

Mix it with enough Jack Daniels and you can ward off any infections. I'd recommend about 10 parts Jack to 1 part Coke.

I have a 1977 Notre Dame football NC bottle of 7 UP that is still unopened. I think that trumps yours for nastiness.

Well, at least it's a glass bottle, not an aluminum can so no leaching of metal to worry about....Amazingly, while it looks to have zero carbonation, don't see any settling.

I know Creighton fans don't like UConn, but watching this speech by McDermott to his players after they lost to San Diego State was tough:



I respect McDermott even more after this, and it makes me want UConn to win even more, if that is possible, to avenge a loss on behalf of the Big East.
