Soccer has been rocked by another finger-in-bum attack on the field, known as an “oil check.”
This time the incident took place in Brazil following a number of similar wandering-hand moments in recent years.
Ponte Preta was up 2-0 against Vitoria in a relegation winner-takes-all battle Sunday night.
But centerback Rodrigo took matters literally into his own hands by assaulting Vitoria opponent Rodrigo Tellez with just 20 minutes on the clock.
Rodrigo, who even grimaced at the force of his own thrust, was sent off, leaving Preta with 10 men for the remainder of the match.
And his absence cost his team, who ended up losing 3-2 to suffer relegation instead of Vitoria, making Rodrigo single-handedly responsible for a pitch invasion.
