Saved Hurley lol? Martin and Whaley’s horrible passes in that stretch are not on him. Nice try though.
17 point lead cut to seven after 12 turnovers and 0 baskets. Yes saved. Should’ve taken a timeout after the first 3. But great win. Fan base will be jacked for Tuesday

TyPo stepped up big with 16 off the bench. He covered up that 2nd half ball handling nightmare.

When teams press UConn, Polley has to be in there and he needs to be at midcourt. He has good hands and makes good decisions.

He's a big target when UConn players will inevitably get off balance or double teamed against the press.

You absolutely have to have at least one of Cole or Jackson on the floor. Putting them both on the bench at the same time was an absolute recipe for disaster.

Especially while being pressed.

Xavier missed a few timeouts too. Its what we do on the yard. Thankful every game not a single one of us is on the coaching staff. On to Nova.

The turnovers were mainly lazy passes or catches by our starters. Hurley needs to be able to trust them with at least making solid passes/catches.

This. Every. Single. Time he’s been in that position this season, we’ve broken the press or he’s gone to the line.

You can't have your two best ball handlers both out against a Big East press. I'm sure Hurley realizes that now.
