Seems like the North Carolina schools win again, except Wake Forest. None of the NC schools have to play BC, Pitt, or Syracuse annually. And, FSU gets paired with Syracuse instead of GT?

The problem with the ACC format is the conference championship game. The top 2 conference records play in the game, but that won’t necessarily be the 2 best teams.

The problem with the ACC format is the conference championship game. The top 2 conference records play in the game, but that won’t necessarily be the 2 best teams.

Divisions didn't guarantee the 2 best teams either.

Over an 8 game season there is a better chance of at least the best if not the 2 best teams rising to the top rather than hoping the best teams win each division
