Words that jumped out at me: the teacher "praised Bent for being the driving force behind the program while excelling in sports and academics." “I’m awed by Molly . . ." This is a high quality person. Exactly the type Geno seeks and, fortunately, finds. It will be a privilege to have her in a UConn uniform--driven and awesome.
An article was posted yesterday as somewhat of an update to the program. Tabor Academy hosted a Valentines Day basketball tournament for special olympics teams from Cape Cod to New Bedford. They had 78 student volunteers with Molly serving as a referee for the tournament. They also talk about the "R-Word Campaign" which is encouraging Tabor students to take a pledge to stop using the "R-word" in casual conversation. The video that they are referring to which features Molly talking about her younger sister can be found here in the most recent post. https://www.facebook.com/Tabor-Academy-Athletics-716572041759319/?fref=nf
