This is good on so many levels. Obviously the biggest is this is for a great cause. A fun event. A chance to see UCONN play at Mohegan!

But also, this team is so new, and getting a chance to play ANOTHER exhibition game against a quality opponent, will help this team get ready for the season.

Exactly right - the Casino always wins - Given fan demographics - males age 25-55 - expect to exceed the average event and maybe bring in $2M. However, being mid week may hurt people staying late?

You know Jim well, he already started the day of his official announcement. He stopped at STM prep school on his way home. Being D3 my understanding is they will offer supersized Financial Aid packages rather than ships.

Cooley and KO like each other and the ADs get along as well. After something like the MAL thing happened Calhoun would use that as motivation and a feud type thing but KO is a different guy.
