MLS/Liga MX merger

I know it's probably a pipe dream, but I'd love to see this happen and coincidence with a prom/rel system finally implemented in this country. Like I said, a pipe dream.

However, this would likely attract more top players that are not just in their twilight. I'm not saying we're beating out EPL, Bundesliga, or La Liga. However, we could be more competitive to land players that smaller European clubs get.

I think that the only was this merger works is if they have pro/rel. Unfortunately, that requires MLS owners to get over their selfish egos and wallets. I'm not holding out hope on that one....

EDIT: Just reread the article and realized it's not about merging, just about having more matches between leagues....screw that. MLS still blows

I think a Cup between Liga MX and MLS makes sense.
