This is a weird game to predict:

--MSU is currently projected as an NCAA #7 seed and LSU is on the outside looking in.
--MSU has the better overall record, 9-7 compared to 8-11, but LSU has the better conference record at 6-7 compared to 4-6.
--LSU is 2-6 against teams currently in the top-25 with wins over Texas A&M and Georgia plus close losses to Tennessee (64-63) and twice to South Carolina (69-65 and 66-59). MSU is 1-5 against top-25 teams with a win over Georgia and OT losses to South Florida and Kentucky.

With the game being at LSU, the team with a couple of days extra rest, it seems like they should be favored to win a fairly close game. In the last three games MSU has trailed at the half by 13, 13, and 6 points so we'll see if getting back in the win column on Tuesday relaxes some nerves and helps the team get off to a better start.

I just know this game is gonna be the one with the most thread replies for the day.

More than Kentucky/Georgia and whoever South Carolina and Tennessee are playing.

I think LSU will make it hard for Mississippi State to get going offensively. But the only question is whether LSU can break like low 60s and win.

I think it's a winnable game for MSU but they have to get off to a good start and not fall behind. The slow starts doomed them a few times and we've seen they don't play very well when behind. Hoping for the best.

I believe this game will be close. IMHO we can only win if our ladies play Vic ball, press on defense, be physical all over the court, and if our PG will take care of the ball and feed our inside guys. However, I do not see that happening.

Two questions and some information:
1) Does anyone know the availability status of Wiggins? She has played the last three games, but only 7, 1, and 3 minutes. Also, has anyone heard updates on KN'isha Godfrey, the December high school graduate who joined the team in January? Her only action has been 4 minutes against South Carolina.

2) According to this Charlie Creme article, 8 SEC teams are a lock to make the NCAA Tournament with seeding being the only question. This includes MSU currently listed as a #7 seed, the same as Alabama. He says LSU could join that group as well.

I believe Miss St is the better team, but. LSU has not played very well in a while and are going through their annual end of the season fall. If Miss St comes out playing hard and inspired, they will likely win. If they go through the motions like they have throughout the season, wouldn't be shocked to see them lose.

55-48 is gonna be the final score. Essentially a race to 55 for either teams.

Jackson has 0 rebounds. At 6'2 they need her, LSU has more total rebounds and more offensive rebounds.

Whenever this season is talked about it isn't long before MSU having 3 McAA on the roster is brought up as evidence that they should be a top-something team. At halftime that trio is a combined 3 of 16 with 5 rebounds. Thank goodness for Myah Taylor or this game would be over.

Yes it's their fault. Let's run them off and let's see how Nikki does with 0 McDonald's All-Americans and a new roster next year.

It's incredible to see how much better both LSU and MSU would be with a much better coach than the two Nikkis.
