And just like that, Miami's 2020 recruiting haul is gone (Cross to Louisville, Timberlake in portal).
The 6'6 215 top-40 recruit averaged 9.3p, 5.0r, 2.4a, 1.7s, 44.9 fg% (only 7 3PAs) in 27.4 mpg in his 7 games played before injury. All but one of those games were ACC games, so his stats hold up.
Sounds like a good Tyrese Martin replacement after sitting out the 21/22 season.

COMPARISON
Deonte Burton
An advanced physical specimen. Powerfully built with some quick twitch explosiveness as a 6-6 wing. The lefty can get where he wants on the court and is a good playmaker. Manufactures buckets but has room to improve as an outside shooter. Is a great rebounder for his position. Scores on putbacks and can start the break. Imposing and versatile defender who should develop into an NBA draft selection.
