Nebraska's not a terrible loss. They lost to B10 bottom dwellers Minnesota and Nebraska towards the end of the season and they want to complain?
I do not think this is an “all time snub” scenario. Team was 19-14 and 3-7 in the last time. I could see it either way and while I don’t think they deserved it, I wouldn’t have been shocked to see them included. Honestly thought they would play PC in the playin games. 35 in Kenpom and the highest ranked team on KP not in the tournament. To be fair, SUNJ got hosed. If the reaction on this board over getting a 4 as opposed to a 3 is any indication, I'd hate to an all time snub.

I think the strongest case you could make for a team they should have gotten in over may be PC. Similar metrics to conference mate MSU. Arizona state the worst KenPom rating of any at large at 68, but had 22 wins.
didn't they have a guard at some point that was better than MJ?rutgersal was one of the best fans of another team to come here preseason year after year with a detailed optimistic report about players on his team and why Rutgers would win the BE. He’s scrappy on steroids.
Never came true but like night follows day he’d be here every preseason with that same optimism in spite of results.
Throwing shade on him after the meltdown this forum went through over a two point loss to a top ten team is just plain weird. He’s got nothing on more than 90% of the people who post here!
WVU is another somewhat controversial inclusion but Rutgers has 3 losses worse than their worst loss.Committee should have selected Rutgers over Huggy Bear’s Hillbillies.
Hofstra 88, Rutgers 86
Once a Rutgers, always a Rutgers.
But their staff coached so many pros.Hofstra 88, Rutgers 86
