I really enjoyed the Butler game because

The guys were passing and playing as a team. Drive in and dish out. Skip pass. etc.
Fewer and fewer passes for no reason until someone has to shoot.

I'm upbeat.

They kept the game at ten points or more. It's nice to watch a game where they firmly hold a large lead. It's enjoyable.

The first half was much better than the second half. Several times during the second half UConn reverted to its habit of just being on the floor rather than imposing its play on Butler. I understand taking the air out of the ball once the game got under 4 minutes but there were extended periods of meh play during second half. First half was UConn's best looking half in a long time, maybe all season.

The W, and playing as a team. Last season UConn played 12 OOC games before playing Cincy on Jan 1 and 19 games by Jan 26th. UConn has only played 11 games so far. I think we'll see continued progress and even though they don't have Bouknight, it's too bad they now have another 10 days off.
