He can build a former Yankee Conference member that played in a leaky roof building, was cemented in last place in the Big East for many years and take them to multiple Sweet 16s, Elite 8s and then the unthinkable FF National Champions then we can compare!

Long way to go but a great start!!

I don't think anyone remembers the state of UConn basketball in the early 80s. I picked 1983 and took a look. We lost to BU, Holy Cross, UMass and barely squeaked by Fairfield and New Hampshire. Yes, we used to travel to play the Stags at Fairfield....can't even imagine that now. We would routinely be dismantled by other BE teams. When I told people from other states I went to UConn, they were like "YUKON? Why would you go to college in Alaska?"

Then Jim C came along. What he did was monumental. What Hurley did was monumental too, but Jim C was the OG.
