Someone asked him why there are so many turnovers, he took part of blame but spent like 4 minutes blabbering trying to think of something to say.

The remark about shortening the leash on players who continue to be sloppy with the ball was overdue. He wants to make sure Gaffney and Adams continue to develop because they provide other options at the point. Depth allows a coach to send a message the same mistakes continue to be made.

Akok is going to be a terror very soon.

Akok is in total beast mode at times. Then we forget him it seems. He never vanishes on defense and boards like a champ, but on offense we lose him.

As someone said on the chat, I am in favor of Ending the ball screen handoff with Josh at the top of the circle. It's pointless. We never run pick and roll out of it (I can recall one this year) and Josh isn't a threat. So the other center really doesn't even follow him. Run that play with Polley or Akok and it becomes very different indeed.
