Chris Dailey and a bunch of former UConn teammates will be at the game. Since Geno is hosting his annual charity dinner (Geno for the Kids) I doubt he'll be there.

This to me is the most impressive thing about Sue's amazing career. It's the definition of what it means to be a leader.

Well said. Sue was a great leader on and now off the court. She just had a very solid leadership style. Not a show boat type of a leader. She was just an great leader that inspired her team. As we say, she could read the room and go from there. I always love her story about how she and Lauren Jackson were able to balance their skillset to help the Storm become a Championship caliber team.

In addition to Cat's post about Lauren saying that Sue coached every coach they had, here are a few more things said about Sue today.

Lauren said that Sue knew where all of her teammates were supposed to be and where all of the opposing players were supposed to be.

Jenny Boucek called her "Superhuman" and said she was the smartest player ever to play the game.

Megan said that Sue was arguably the greatest leader in the history of team sports.

I wouldn't argue with any of that.

If you missed it, the event ran about 3 hours. Sue herself spoke for 1.5 hours, because she wanted to thank everyone from elementary school up to last week.

Sue asked her family afterwards “Was that too long?” Her sister replied “You played here for 21 years. They can listen to you for an hour.”
