I'm bored. Here are the Huskies' first half scores from 2014-2015 to present day. It actually is frightening. Final game records are below as well. Shows how important first half leads are. Granted, most of our first half leads were against cupcakes but still.

When we're losing at the half:
  • Record of 12-22.
  • Our opponents outscore us 751-563 at the half.
  • Wins include: Colorado, Cincinnati (x3), Memphis, Houston, Tulsa, ECU (x2), Florida, Bryant
  • At the half, we're down by an average of 5.5 points.
When we're winning at the half:
  • Record of 30-3.
  • We outscore our opponents 1091-773 at the half.
  • Losses include: Houston, Cincinnati, Temple.
  • At the half, we're up by an average of 3.67 points.
When we're tied at the half:
  • Record of 2-3.
  • Losses include: Tulsa, Syracuse, Memphis.
  • Wins include: SMU, Dayton
In this time period we are a combined 44-28 (0.6111).

Against P5 Competition we are a combined 5-8 (.3846).

In conference, we are a combined 21-15 (0.5833).

Based on that info, you're saying we're 26-23 (.531) in AAC/P5 games and 18-5 vs. G5 and lower cupcakes.

Before this season, based on RPI rankings, KO was 34-39 vs top 100 teams and 56-3 vs lower competition during his four-year reign. At the moment, Wagner is a top 100 (64), NE is not.

UConn may find themselves with an RPI over 300 after the maths are done this week. We really are bringing down the conference.
