I'd choose Tiffany Mitchell over Schimmel. Other than that, I'd say the list is spot on.

OK, so granted, I'm a homer, but look at these stats (adjusted to per 40 minutes of play):

Player A: 21.9 Points, 39% FG, 37% 3PT, 80% FT, 5.58 Rebounds, 4.71 Assists, 3.26 TO, 1.44 A/TO, 1.40 SPG
Player B: 13.7 Points, 58% FG, 40% 3PT, 76% FT, 4.41 Rebounds, 6.88 Assists, 2.39 TO, 3.07 A/TO, 3.56 SPG

Does 8 points and 1 rebound per forty minutes really make up for a 20 point field goal percentage difference, 2 extra assists, 1 fewer turnovers, twice as good an A/TO, and two extra steals per game? I'm really not a fan of the efficiency stat, but above, Moriah averages an efficiency per 40 of 21.62, which is more than 30% more than Schimmel's 16.56.

I'd give it to Moriah over Schimmel in a heartbeat.

I'd take Simmons over Schimmel.

Simmons has won us a lot of games and has kept us competitive in some of our losses, but she is a bit to inconsistent to be an all american. Izzy would make a better case

Like bballnut, I'd also give it to Tiffany Mitchell before Schimmel. Tiffany also has a better case to made than Moriah.

You'll probably take Russell over Dolson as well :)
I think potentially yes. Dean Lockwood keeps saying she is going too be a special player. Look at the work he's done with Harrison. Who is averaging a double double. She just needs too get a little stronger and more game time.

First team exactly matches mine. And I also agree with Hartley, Loyd, and Dolson.
Havent seen enough of Mitchell or Hooper to comment, but all in all a very good list.

What's crazy is that 8 of them are seniors! So lots of faces will be moving on up next year. Stewart, Loyd, KML, and Deshields are the likely leaders. Not sure about rest of top 10. Harrison I guess. Myabe someone from SC. MoJet.

Simmons stats are notable, particularly the turnovers. She also excels at failing to perform in key games.
Simmons scored the last few points in win over Kentucky. A layup and free throws.

But she was 6 for 18, no assists, 2 turnovers 1 rebound. OK, but hardly an All American performance. Not only weren't there any Tennessee players on the AA list, there weren't even any SEC players that made it.

It is a good list and as others have noted, Shonni is perhaps the weakest selection except in profile where she does excel, and in team leadership. Looking at this you realize how hard it is to identify a 5 player AA 1st team and even harder to select a second team as there are a lot of very deserving players in the 11 to 15 spots on anyones list and an argument could be made for any one of them over another.
I do think Jefferson is very deserving of consideration, but suspect 2 sophomores are probably as far as any 10 player selection will tolerate.

Both Bria and Stef were unanimous selections to the second team.

Some choices are tough. Harry Frazee took "No, No, Nanette" over Babe Ruth. And (in a way) Hal Steinbrenner took Alex Rodriguez over Derek Jeter.

I would say there are not of post players. Right now playing better than Harrison.

Not sure exactly what you are saying, but Harrison is a good player. Just not on this 10 player list. Maybe she is 11th.
