Just because it is not surprising doesn't mean it is not terrific. Had K not had the really snake bit year we may well have had 4 outin that line up. Congrats Husky Greats.

Shoni Schimmel and Maggie Lucas made the USBWA All American team and did not make the WBCA. Conversely Tiffany Mitchell South Carolina and Jordan Hooper Nebraska made the WBCA team and not USBWA Team.
Going back to the Start of Women's Basketball 1995
, there's been three years when a UConn player has not made the WBCA All American team. They are 2005,06 and 07.

And herewith, Dolson reconfirms her spot on the HoH Wall, Bria proves her selection as a sophomore (which already put her on the Wall) was no fluke, and Stewie confirms her spot is guaranteed. KML is already guaranteed to be on the HoH wall, and if healthy, will have the same kind of validation as a senior that Bria has had in hers.
IN short, we've already established four names from this team either are or will be on the Wall when all is said and done. That's more than a team with the names Sue Bird, Swin Cash, and Diana Taurasi (or, for that matter, Renee Montgomery, Tina Charles, and Maya Moore). This current group of kids ain't done yet; Moriah will be on this WBCA team in her final two seasons. At that point, all five starters on the 2013-14 team will be honored and memorialized. Incredible. Now please TCOB and win the national championship!
