All three are solid programs and P5 universities. Would the Big East go to 14 for soccer?

WVU women's soccer is a BIG 12 sport...thus WVU women's soccer would not play in another conference.

Ditto for South Carolina and Tennessee....since the SEC has 14 women's soccer programs.

OK...when poster said all three were "solid programs"...I did not interpret that as the whole AD, but rather soccer. Got it.

That's interesting. Certainly a better conference than MAC and C-USA. It's hard to believe both the SEC and Big 12 don't sponsor Men's Soccer considering how popular soccer is in this country.

Florida and Vandy women's lacrosse left the big east a couple years ago to join the AAC. Florida men's soccer is a club because of Title IX.

Title IX is also holding back FSU and Miami men's soccer....and the ACC is a soccer hot bed.
