...reads the headline in today's NY Post. The article written, by a longtime Post columnist, begins "This was the price Big East foes knew they would be paying when UConn was invited back to where it belongs after its seven-year hiatus. Husky fans streaming into the Garden, turning it into their house again, just as they did in the good old days..."
If UConn men's sports and fans have any identity to the world at large it's the men's BB team and especially the men's BB team at MSG. Look what happened to the program when it was taken away and now look what has happened when it returned. At least the AAC-for-lifers and the "but MSGers" have been proven wrong yet again. Maybe they'll give it up now.
