I want this kid a lot. It's been a while since UConn has had a 'Shard' shooter. Put him in with the "mama of can dou Diarra" and I feel like we're coming full circle with rosters.

I can't help but think if Powell comes to Uconn and has one bad game the immature folks in this forum will make some comments about his weight being the factor. And you and I will be joining ranks against that junk. Powell is the only point guard this summer to average both a 20+ PER and 5+ 3PA per game in multiple tournaments this summer. Granted he may be more of a SG by nature.

Real good call there harry. Ernie Cobb too, the old burly guard style body. French Tomlin was the same way but he didn't turn out to be as good as I expected when he not Cleveland State? I believe.
