Read something interesting I did not know about Kyrie. Evidently, if he doesn't resign with Boston, the Celtics do not free up a max contract amount of cap space. They lose him and are still at the max.
Yup. But if al opts out too they’re getting closer.
And there’s a story out there, from cle, that cle is interested in Hayward.
But this nuclear option would only be worth it for KD and a brow trade.
That would leave them with no guards. If they can trade Hayward, and Kyrie is gone, I’d love to see Kemba and Davis with Tatum and Brown. Use picks on a PF. It’s going to be a wild off season around the league.
Danny is a smart guy. They have lots of assets. The chemistry isn’t working. It’s no surprise that they are best when Morris is out there. He’s a lunch pail guy. Makes everyone better.
Rozier can still be kept for the qualifying offer.
At least they aren’t the lakers right now
They have assets. Ainge is also an asset. I have faith he can move some pieces and create a better team. I don't think they sign Hayward at all if they knew they'd get Tatum.
Either 3 first round picks this year, or 4 with one top 10. If 3 then the Memphis pick in 2020 is a nice trade chip. They could even get really lucky and have the Kings pick land in a good spot.
Impossible to get Zion.
But getting 2 and having the option to take Morant is a gift. He either
1) replaces Kyrie; or
2) goes to New Orleans as a core piece to a brow deal and becomes their starting pg
I can't see both Kyrie and Stevens on this team next season.
I'd agree. And I'll add this, if you can't play for Brad Stevens, I don't want you on my team.
