Good choice for Penn State. Smart move for her..... especially since all the MU starters are graduating

Whoa. I honestly didn't see it coming. She did just graduate 5 starters, but I guess I thought she'd stay because she's a Marquette alum.

She's a great coach. She'll probably have some success at Happy Valley.

Wonder if any of her recruits will follow. Obviously she had Tori McCoy and Shemera Williams is a top-100 2019.

Shemera Williams seems to be a little upset on twitter.

Williams liked Twitter posts about following her coach...

Three very good candidates interviewed. Very good choice for Penn State.

Interesting that Felisha Legette-Jack turned down the job.

Excellent hire by Penn State and interesting move by Kieger. Her "position-less" Warriors gave the Irish one of the best games of the year in 2017-18, an overtime thriller in South Bend. As has been mentioned, she was losing all five of her starters but she had some good bench players and one huge recruiting (8?) players coming into Milwaukee.

Penn State had an ok recruiting class (which was kind of the the issue with Washington the last few years) but there is one Jersey girl that is headlining it: Mya Bembry a 6'1" guard from West Orange who would've fit in perfectly on this year's Marquette team. Wing player with range and very, very fluid athlete (excellent soccer player, as well...I've seen her in both sports).

Good luck to all concerned.

Wonder if any of the two other finalists are interested in/contacted by Georgia Tech?

BTW: what might have been: I recall that Breanna Stewart was reported to have Penn State her runner-up.
