The 10th and FINAL biweekly edition of the 2021-22 Boneyard Top 25 poll is approaching.

Please note the unusual deadline. Because the selection show has been moved from Monday to Sunday, I am moving the ballot deadline from our usual Monday morning time to Sunday evening before the selection show.

Ballots are due to me, via private message, by 6:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 13, 2022. (If you don't know how to send a PM, let me know in this thread and I will PM you first.) Ballots should reflect all games played through the afternoon of Sunday, March 13.

Note: The last of the conference tournament finals (including the Big 12's) are scheduled to tip off at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. This means our window between completion of all relevant games and the voting deadline is greatly compressed. There will be roughly two hours between the end of these games and the deadline (assuming, hopefully, that none go to overtime!).

The poll is open to anyone, regardless of fan base affiliation, who has a Boneyard account. There is no need to have participated in previous polls to submit a ballot for this one.

Some notes and reminders:
  • Early ballots are generally not allowed. Ballots should reflect all games played through Sunday, March 13. Please don't submit your ballot until all potentially ballot-impacting games have been decided.
  • Please double-check your ballot for errors, duplications, and omissions. Having the same team listed twice is the most common flaw. Here's a tip: Once you think you have your final rankings, copy them into Word or Excel or a similar program, and then sort the team names alphabetically. This should make it readily apparent if any team is listed twice.
  • Full ballots (of 25 teams) are strongly encouraged; short ballots (of at least 10 teams) are accepted.
  • No ties are allowed on a ballot. Each team on the ballot must have a unique ranking.
For reference, previous polls from this season are linked below:

Giving this a bump.

Questions:
  • South Carolina remained #1 in the AP poll despite losing to Kentucky. Will the same happen in the Boneyard poll?
  • Do teams like Kentucky, Miami and Utah surge into the top 25 after their runs in their conference tournaments?
**Please note the early deadline: tomorrow (Sunday) at 6:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Below are the results since the latest poll (Feb. 28):

Bumping this because I just realized we need to vote by tomorrow, not Monday! (plus we have one less hour to do it. ;))

I plan on having everything finalized except for maybe the top 10 teams which I will have different scenarios on the outcome of the Big 12 final.

+1. I'm struggling with how much to reward body of work versus who's good now, because TBH, as the fan of a probable 1 Seed (Stanford), as of right now, I'd actually rather face either of NC State or Louisville in the Elite Eight than Baylor or UConn...

So would a lot of other teams. There are many hoping to stay out of UConn's or Baylor's bracket, they just aren't saying so. How would you like to be a #1 seed and have UConn in as your #2? I wouldn't if I was a coach or a fan. It's just the fans that will say anything, the coach will keep quite and steam later if they happen to lose. I really think that Baylor will be the 4th #1 seed if they win tomorrow, so Stanford wouldn't meet them until the Final Four according to Charlie.

Yeah I think that's very realistic. So send NC State to Bridgeport to meet UConn! ;)

All but two of our BY25 teams have completed play. The Baylor-Texas tilt tomorrow (tipoff at 2 pm Eastern) will wrap things up. Ballots are due at 6p ET.

Just a reminder that ballots will be due in 3 hours.

Assuming no overtime (please no), that'll be about 2 hours after the end of the Baylor-Texas game.

Just about 20 minutes to go.

Despite the rushed timeframe, please do give your ballots one last look-over to ensure no repeated teams. (If you haven't heard from me yet, your ballot was fine :) )

Is there no judgement for the questionable choices that I made in my rankings given that I was filling it out with a sangria in hand?
