Looking ahead obviously hoping the good guys are in the bracket, DOOMED.

Just some general questions, not really up to speed on when to and where to get tickets.

What is the best site, is it best to buy before the bracket is revealed or wait till the sweet 16 is over. Any bit of feedback would be appreciated.

Boston will host two sweet 16 games and an elite 8. Are you aiming for elite 8 or both sessions?

Tickets are $250+ ish now for Sweet 16. If we make it, the prices will probably go up. If we don't, they'll go down. But you won't want them then either.

The last time the NCAA Tournament was in Boston was 2003 and tickets were hard to get and very expensive. That was the first 2 rounds though, so more teams. I'd imagine tickets are cheaper now but you're taking the risk that UConn will be there.

I just try to go to the host city and find a good watering hole with large tvs. Good sound. A few UConn loyalists and a little eye candy. #6

However much you think it will be, go higher.

I have tickets for Boston already. Cost me $350 a seat for upper deck for both S16 and E8.

If UConn makes it the S16 game will cost a lot. E8 game will be significantly cheaper.

Is that on the secondary market or was that directly from the NCAA sale?

It’s a good bet. I bought Brooklyn all sessions back in October. Starting to look like a REAL possibility… DOOOOOOOOMED

Schedules can always be changed if you want it badly enough.

Does anyone remember what level donor you had to be last year to get tickets for the regionals in Vegas? If UConn gets to the Sweet 16, I'd imagine it will be a much higher level this year with Boston being so close.

Think it was MVP and up for the Sweet Sixteen/Elite Eight. And for the first round/second round I don't think many donors got tickets if I remember correctly.

Wasn't Boston a regional site in 2009?

It was a big deal that Pitt got the #1 seed there over us, and they lost to Villanova. Or am I mis-remembering?

Good memory. Better than mine!

Now I can't remember why I didn't go. I think it might have been because UConn played on the same days and I wanted to watch those games instead of going to the East Regional. If UConn was in the East Regional I would have definitely gone.

It was also the regional in 2012. I went to the Cuse-Ohio St game.

You're right. Did I black out for 20 years? I swear I don't remember why I didn't go either year.

Elite 8 is actually going to be easier/cheaper just because the fans of the two S16 losers will dump tickets for resale last minute

Do they sell tickets to both games through the schools? They used to

But last year for the Final Four they only sold you Saturday tickets through the school.

Although you were guaranteed Monday tickets, you couldn't buy them until after your school won.

Obviously, only talking about school allotments

I'm debating whether I even want to be there live if I'm in the upper decks (lower upper decks and loge is fine). I imagine the E8 game will see tickets free up from the teams that lost. Might be a better option.

Even though I live in metro Boston, North Station/Garden is a huge PIA to get to. Also, the one time I went to see us in Worcester it was very unlucky.

No it was Director level and up (I think even lower actually because my friend at Husky level said he received the email too). I had access to Sweet 16/8 and Final 4/Ship at Director level.
