Is it opposite day? That looked about as severe as it gets.
Yeah, maybe. I tuned in right as it was happening and didn't see the replay. It originally just looked like an awkward fall.

Looked pretty bad to me. Haye to see that happen to any player.

This stinks. No contact injury is usually not good news. The scream on the floor is not a good sign.

I just returned from my jog along the Pacific Ocean to this game. Damn I had no idea Bryce Hopkins hurt himself that badly. That sucks. Here's hoping it's a minor sprain and nothing more :(

I hope he has a full recovery, preferably a quick one as well.

As someone with two knees that have been cranky for decades l won't watch a replay. That it was non-contact is concerning. I feel for the kid.

I was flipping back and forth between the UConn women's game and thee PC-Seton Hall game. Griffin and Hopkins went down with knee injuries at almost the same time. Griffin's looked bad. No contact on the way up.

I went strictly by him grabbing the knee immediately on no contact and screaming AHHHH so loud you could hear it through the broadcast.

It's usually pretty obvious when it happens to you (I wish I didn't know that personally).

MRI tomorrow morning. The post game presser seemed very solemn when his name was brought up

We'll never know it's a state secret. But wishing him a full and speedy recover.

I’m cautiously optimistic about this one - it didn’t look like the kind of non-contact injury where you just immediately think ACL.

He took some really awkward steps and then looked like he tripped himself and hyperextended the leg. Usually, with an ACL, it’s a jump stop or something similar where the body stops and one knee keeps going.

I hope it’s a hyper extension.

Trainer can usually tell by the amount of movement anterior/posterior if it’s an acl
