Big 12 explores selling naming rights to title sponsor for perhaps hundreds of millions of dollars. "Big" would be replaced, but 12 should stay. Here are my popular recommendations off the top of my head:

This may or may not be relevant but FedEx promised to become a "major sponsor" of the Big 12 in 2016 if the Memphis Tigers were invited into the conference. Within the last year FedEx and the Fred Smith family have given 50 million to help support the renovation of the university-owned Liberty Bowl and 25 million over five years to support Memphis NIL. So they're still active and interested in 2024.

My hunch is that UConn would do cartwheels if invited to join the B12 regardless of whether the conference retains its current name or opts for a different one.
