Really hard to believe. The most points ASU has given up this year's been 68. To give up 40 in a half to USC is really mind-boggling. ASU has held Stanfard Arizona UCLA twice beneath 70. At the rate the Trojans are shooting they might crack 90.

Maybe Rogers is one of the three best sophomores in the nation when she plays ASU. Last year as a freshman she was almost impossible to stop when the Devils played the Trojans. Today she's got 20 at the half four or five from three land, 7 of 8 overall with 4 boards, 3 dimes and 0 turnovers.

Devils defense is making her look like Paige.

Rogers and Osborne are a great pair of sophs for the LA schools.

The announcers said Rogers was one of the first recruits from Texas Trask signed when he returned to SoCal.

That said up to this game CTT has devised ways to defend equally gifted shooting guards and her team has executed those plans. Today is an unmitigated disaster

The question is do the Devils have the scoring left in them to pull out and improbable victory.

UFC couldn't keep up the tottid three-point shooting as the Devils improve their perimeter defense.

A familiar story. Lousy first quarters leave the Devils to dig themselves out of holes. So while ASU played a very good second half the hill was too high to climb.

So, ASU holds USC to 25 in the second half but has insufficient offense to make up the first half deficit.

Also ASU freshman point guard Jaddan Simmons suffers what appears to be a severe leg injury.
