Another great breakdown video of our offense

i haven't seen this one posted yet. it's similar to the phenomenal hoopvision video from before the tournament, but focuses exclusively on our tournament games:



i also feel like this guy does a slightly better job illustrating the basic concepts of the offense (which are plays that many teams utilize) and then highlighting the ways in which uconn's execution brings them above and beyond. great watch.

Others think they can mirror our offense. Sure a few can, most can't. We have the 3 best coaches in the country. We have players who give 100% effort all the time and sacrifice for the team. And we give 100% effort on defense as well. Good luck mirroring that.

There are great offenses already out there. Purdue, Bama, Illinois etc.

When you realize how much our 7’2” 5 has the ball in his hands and is required to pass and cut you just eliminated 90% of other teams .
Clingan has unusual skills for a guy his size .

i actually prefer seeing a mix of makes and misses -- the important thing is that a play generates an open shot. even the best players in the world are not going to make every single look in a given game and you have a larger, more representative look at our playbook this way.

We weren't even #1 this season in shot quality lol (4th). But it was a strong year for offenses.
