Even if we don't land him I like the fact that all this talk seems to make the SU coaches scramble and their fans lose their minds for a bit. It's hard to be a Syracusian.

isaiah jackson to UK is best case scenario for us. it would: 1) take Cuse out of the running for Jackson, since they couldnt pair him with isaiah; and 2) take UK out of the running for Cliff, since they wouldnt need a center. 2 birds 1 stone.

Sheesh he didn’t sound all that excited about Cuse in the article. The cliff/Jackson comment is beyond interesting. Is Jackson a Cuse lean?
I don't think he's ever been. He just has to go with what he wants and tune out the other people chirping. Don't want him to make the same mistake Purvis made.

I like the way you think but these package deals aren't even close to a sure thing to take Cuse out of the running because of that

Now someone on the Cuse board is saying that one of our insiders said Jackson gave a silent verbal, lol. Did I miss something? I so wish I could post over there. It’d be fun

Um when did he say Cuse is out of the running if they don't land Jackson?

The Cliff stuff is interesting... He mentioned multiple times in the article that Iowa and Cuse want to "put the ball in his hands as a freshman" and surround him with guys to compliment his game. Didn't say this about UConn.

Guess he needs to decide if he can believe these coaches who are buttering him up with promise, or Hurley who probably gave him the real truth... that he will have to bust it from day one to EARN playing time, but if he does he will be part of a championship program and have a path to the NBA.

Much better chance of Cliff landing at UConn than Isaiah Jackson landing at Cuse.

247 shows I. Jackson warm on Syracuse and three others and cool on us, while they have Cliff cool on us and warm on five others. If that's true, Jackson asking them for input may not be a positive.
