i think carlton just took his minutes tonight. our wing play was great and danny tried akok at the 5, but carlton was playing well.

I know Carlton has taken a lot of heat over the years, but a hell of a performance from him tonight. He’s gotta be the best 3rd string center in the country.

Said it in another thread but having Carlton and Adams being the guys forced out of the rotation is great because you know they'll be ready to step up when we run into foul trouble and need them

It was nice to see. I'm glad he didn't just shut it down when Sanogo moved ahead of everybody. Cole was solid too. Had a spurt of a few minutes where he forced it a bit, but I really like the way the team is playing. Polley was solid too, and Gaff had some good minutes.

Akok coming back from a rough injury so it’ll probably be spotty here and there for him playing full tilt until next season starts. It’s scary how good we can be with Bouk and Akok.

Saw a quote on Twitter that Akok was a bit sore after Saturday. Pair that with the above quote about going a bit too hard in practice and not feeling great pregame and that pretty much answers it. Akok goes so darn hard that the staff and trainer may have to hold him back a bit for his own good.
