How is his defense? Lateral quickness? Good hands? Good at stealing?
Good, but because he and his team are so dominant he understandably leaks out down court sometimes (I would too....).

He's 6'6" and plays guard. At my school, a 6'6" kid would be our center. If he played center, opponents would not take it inside because with his hops he plays like a 7 footer. Tremendous athlete with great shooting form make him a must get. He might even grow a little more too. He had a play yesterday where he broke an opponent's ankles and drilled a three. Even the opposing fans went nuts.

The State Semifinals are Monday at 7:15 at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven vs Notre Dame Prep of Fairfield who beat Stamford 100-22.... Should be a great game. Finals will be at Mohegan Sun next weekend.

First must get since Clingan. No team should outbid us here.
He's going to be top 10 when it's all said and done. His athleticism and the ferocity he attacks the rim with is uncommon. It's also nice to see a prospect nowadays with an elite midrange game to go along with his finishing package around the rim. #23 was a good choice for him.

The shot mechanics look normal as well, won't be surprised if he's a solid 3pt shooter.

He's had big games shooting threes but is still a bit inconsistent it seems. His release looked slow in the past but seems better now. Once he tightens his handle a little and becomes consistent with the three the sky is the limit. This kid just has "it." Must get.

Look at this photo from the Waterbury Observer.

What an amazing offensive machine at his age,
Unreal athleticism
I don't care what the competition, that double block was spectacular
He will be a top 5 recruit
How much is UConn in on this young man?
I would love to see him in Storrs

Not concerned about his D - not with that athleticism

He swishes most in warm-ups and the ones he misses rim out. He's so good off the dribble that he doesn't shoot many threes. There are some kids that are designated three point shooters and he does a good job finding the open ones.

Considering UConn has given out very few 2026 offers at this point, I'd say they are in pretty deep on him.
The Yale coach was there two games ago, but I think he may have been looking at #12 from Notre Dame more. I'm sure he realizes Toure isn't going to Yale.

I’m prefacing this rumor I heard with the fact it came from my son who heard from a friend of friend so obviously could be (and likely is) complete here say. The rumor is he’s leaning toward providence due to an “issue” with someone on UConn coaching staff.

You established that it's hearsay by describing it as like 5th hand information. Did you mean to say it's likely BS?

I’m sure Providence has as good a shot as anyone.

Did your son's friend hear it from twitter by chance? Everything on twitter is true especially coming from PC fans.

It wasn’t from online. It was an actual conversation with a high school classmate who is going to providence. That’s all I got!
