I wonder how this dilution does or doesn't effect the exit fees for AAC teams wanting to leave now or in the years ahead?

Every round of realignment has a singular loser. We know that feeling well.

Well this round, it was clearly Temple. I take no pleasure in that; they deserve better. Who will be their travel partner? ECU? How about their natural rival? USF.

Their fan base must be sick...

Among the remaining G5 schools, these additions rate about
A (UAB)
B (FAU, UTSA)
C (Rice, Charl)
D (UNT)

Pretty sad that that's the best they can do.
I’ll bump Charlotte to a B. They have zero prestige but are in a growth market and are investing in the program. They have some upside I think

Believe it or not, they are probably pumped. They get to play 4 Texas schools a year.
Yup. Navy’s AD was on the 4 member expansion committee

Why does Navy need some many schools on Texas? Doesn't 1 or 2 make the point from a recruiting standpoint? I get it's big state but isn't there diminishing returns at a certain point?
