Okay folks. The first committee reveal is this Thursday during/before the South Carolina at Tennessee game. Same rules as for our New Year;s poll.

You don't have to precisely rank the teams 1-16. Instead, please rank them into the four seeds you expect them to fall into like we did for New Year's. You can make your picks publicly in this thread (preferred) or send them to me by PM if you wish to be private. Open to everybody, not just the New Year's Participants.

Deadline is Noon Thursday PAC time (3:00 p.m. EST)

Here's a link to the New Year's Poll thread: A Boneyard Special New Year's Eve Poll: The Super 16

Goodness, me...that Albany region would be brutal. NC State has already played Colorado and UCONN.

Really they are all brutal. As the top seed I thought our bracket was tough, but didn’t see any that I wanted to trade with.

My only prediction right now is that South Carolina and UConn will end up in Albany. LSU and Iowa will head out west. The committee will definitely be thinking of SC, Iowa, and LSU potentially all ending up in the Final Four. The only question is who gets the easiest path. There’s a lot of “storylines” at stake.

If I was a TV exec who wanted a potential Clark-LSU semi, Clark-Carolina final, I’d definitely pay most attention to LSU’s bracket.

Give them something like:
1. Stanford
2. Va Tech
3. LSU

6. Creighton

Hope for pro officiating and cross your fingers.

Well since the TV execs have nothing to do with picking the brackets ...

I wish UCONN not,to fall in the same bracket as SCar, I think they can beat any other team on a one game basis

When I think of top tier educational systems, I think of SC.
Is that a "No," then?

Instead of responding to my point, you pulled the Akshully, tv executives aren't on the committee.

1. That is understood. That's why I framed it as "if..."
2. I was responding to someone who suggested there would be a desire to see those three teams meet for storylines.
3. Despite the common knowledge of #1, it is widely assumed and speculated that the committee gives consideration to matchups marketable for television, which was implicit in post I was responding to.
4. Even when I tried to cool the tension with an upvote and a joking reply that made these points much more succinctly, you continue to escalate.
5. It's much easier to just not be a Richard.

Yo! @BRS24 . Are you gonna submit a ballot. I note your latest bracketology is:

1 S Carolina UCLA NCSU Stanford
2 Kansas St Ohio St Iowa Texas
3 USC Gonzaga Colorado LSU
4 VA Tech UConn Oregon St Indiana

Can I use that as a ballot?
Wasn't mine. This was The Athletic's first bracketology entry, and since we don't have enough B'ology experts, there's one more!
